Since October 2024, the design and production department has been working on the production of a three-module granulator. 😄
In total, we had to laser cut over 40 tons of stainless steel. After preparing the material, the individual modules were welded and the following operations had to be performed:
- testing of welded joints using various NDT methods
- pressure testing of pipes, nozzles, and pressure parts with the participation of TUV
- internal pipe surfaces were inspected with an endoscope
- inspection of flange joints on all three modules
- surface pickling and passivation for final assembly
- throughout the entire process, it was important to pay attention to surface quality and material contamination
Subsequently, a test assembly of all modules was carried out with the participation of the customer and end user – the final dimensions of the entire technology are: length 12 m/width 3.6 m/height 10.6 m. 👀
A project of this size involves all departments across the company = 6,500 hours of production were planned, but the final result after testing and all kinds of assembly pitfalls was 7,800 hours. 💪
After acceptance, it was necessary to design overseas packaging for transport to the technology’s destination = Egypt. The delivery also included oversized transport and loading onto a ship in Antwerp, which took place on August 23, 2025. (FOB)
Projects like this push our capabilities 👏
and increase our pride.
